What does a Privacy Officer as a Service do?
- Compliance and oversight: Responsible for compliance with the AVG and other privacy laws and regulations, overseeing the organization's privacy policies, and acting as liaison to the Personal Data Authority (AP).
- Policies and Procedures: Establish and maintain privacy policies, processor agreements, retention periods, processing registry and procedures.
- Advice and training: Inform and advise employees on data protection and AVG, and train internal PO if necessary.
- Impact assessments: Prepare Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and advise on their implementation.
- Data breach reporting: Assist in reporting data breaches to appropriate agencies and individuals.
