Our Kilian in the spotlight: from dual role to commercial driving force

Four years ago, Kilian joined Fendix. Living with his girlfriend and two cats, he was full of energy and eager to make a difference as a consultant. He is now the commercial face and partner of Fendix. He fulfills this role with the same enthusiasm he had when he started, but with a wealth of experience that makes talking to him today just that little bit different.

 

From consultant to commercial strategist

What began as a dual role (consultant and sales) developed into a clear focus. His achievements have also led to him becoming a partner at Fendix since last year. Two years ago, Kilian decided to focus entirely on the commercial side of Fendix. Not just sales, but the entire spectrum:

 

  • Getting to know customers
  • Knowledge sharing with existing and potential business partners
  • Discussing goals, ambitions, and laws and regulations together
  • Assessments that go beyond “the standard intake”

 

His background in consulting gives him a unique advantage in this regard. He focuses not only on an organization's needs, but above all on what the organization requires and how legislation and regulations can be applied in a practical manner to meet those needs.

 

That makes a conversation with Kilian not a sales pitch, but a valuable session in which customers really learn something.

 

Compliance, partners, and strategy: the three pillars

Today, his role revolves around three core areas:

1. Customers

From initial acquaintance to finding the perfect match between issue and solution. Compliance is never one-size-fits-all, and that is precisely what energizes Kilian: continuous coordination, probing questions, and collaborative development.

2. Partner management

The ecosystem surrounding Fendix is growing. Partners are becoming increasingly important, and Kilian ensures that these relationships remain strong, both in terms of content and commercially.

3. Sales strategy & business development

Which direction is Fendix heading in? What needs do we see in the market? How do we develop our offering?

 

What has changed the most in four years?

According to Kilian, one thing is abundantly clear: professionalism. "The knowledge we share, the free white papers, the way we guide customers through complex issues... We have grown tremendously as an organization," he says. But just as important: the atmosphere has remained the same.

 

A close-knit club with short lines of communication, but with more experience, clout, and the ability to help larger and more complex organizations.

Whereas in the beginning he often had to explain why we work with young professionals, now there is a strong narrative at the forefront. Marketing, consultancy, and sales tell one coherent story: recognizable, clear, and mature.
