From KAM Certifications to Fendix
When Tim started in November 2023, Fendix was still called KAM Certifications. At the time, there were nine of us. Mathijs and Kilian were still working on projects themselves, and there was no sales or marketing department yet. It was a period when everyone wore multiple hats and had to discover a lot for themselves, something that suited Tim's curious and independent nature well.
Learning by doing
The onboarding back then looked very different than it does now. Much was self-study, supplemented by guidance from Mathijs. Tim tackled that in his own way: through creative learning. For example, he devised an exercise himself in which he rewrote standards in jip-and-jane language, a way to make complex requirements accessible. That approach proved so effective that the exercise is now part of the onboarding of new consultants.
Growth to become an independent consultant
In the period that followed, Tim developed quickly. Where he started with smaller projects, he now independently supervises complex projects for various clients. He translates complex issues into concrete solutions, which is exactly what organizations appreciate about Fendix consultants. Tim also enjoys passing on his knowledge to new colleagues. He shares experiences in client contact, internal audits and the practical application of standards. In doing so, he contributes to the development of others and to quality assurance within the team.
Peace of mind, overview and clear explanations
What characterizes Tim is his calm and focused way of working. He remains calm under pressure, explains difficult topics clearly, as well as standards, and provides structure to every project. This makes him not only a valued colleague, but also a reliable interlocutor for clients.
