Learning by doing
The onboarding looked very different back then than it does today. Much of it involved self-study, supplemented with guidance from Mathijs. Tim did that in his own way: by learning creatively. For example, he himself came up with an exercise where he rewrote standards in jip-and-janneke language, a way to make complex requirements accessible. This approach turned out to be so effective that the exercise is now part of the onboarding of new consultants.
Grow into an independent consultant
In the period that followed, Tim developed rapidly. Where he started with smaller projects, he now independently supervises complex processes with various customers. He translates complex issues into concrete solutions, which is exactly what organizations appreciate about Fendix consultants. In addition, Tim is happy to share his knowledge with new colleagues, sharing experiences about customer contact, internal audits and applying standards in practice. In doing so, he contributes to the development of others and to ensuring quality within the team.
Peace, overview and clear explanation
What characterizes Tim is his calm and focused way of working. He stays calm under pressure, explains difficult topics clearly, just like the standards, and provides structure to every project. This makes him not only a valued colleague, but also a reliable interlocutor for customers.
