Back: what was the problem?

Nedscaper had once set up an ISMS for ISO 27001. But over the years, that had become somewhat diluted. The policy documents were now due for update and knowledge about the compliance processes and relevant knowledge had unfortunately left the organization during staff changes. Meanwhile, recertification was getting closer and closer. In fact: Nedscaper wanted one right away ISO 9001-get a certificate. In short: a lot of ambition, little time. “Actually, we just had to start over,” says Maurits Broers, Head of Delivery at Nedscaper.
